MYC Tech Academy

About Us

MYC Tech Academy is the technology branch of the Magoso Youth Center (MYC). At MYC Tech, we run two programs:

Regular class

This is a part-time program that equips students with computer fundamentals skills. It runs from Monday to Friday 4:00 Pm - 5:00 PM for two months. Students will learn introduction to computers, word processors, spreadsheets, presentations, internet and email and general concepts while working will computer systems like printing etc.

Fullstack Program

This is our flagship program. It’s a highly intensive full-time coding program that runs for six months. Our approach is highly practical and students learn while building projects. At the end students create a portfolio of projects to show to prospective employers. Apart from technical skills, we also equip them with soft skills such as presentation skills, resume writing, collaboration and LinkedIn profile creation. After the program students will be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, ReactNative, WordPress, Git and GitHub, Figma and many more. We strive to produce well rounded developers with in demand skills that are market-ready.
