Magoso Community Center (MCC)

We are here as an agency to identify and take collective action on issues important to the community. In September 2015 the general assembly adopted the 2030 agenda for sustainable development that includes 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). We are using the blue print to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Magoso OBOG group have developed frameworks that can assist and involve the local community in designing and adapting specific solution for improving live ability in their own area. We grasp the community as a resource center for developing countries more so Africa, We are fabricating smart solutions with locals who will learn to mobilize resources to meet their common needs , thus creating economic and social prowess. We are privileged to work and partner with Sasaki Kenji(Cardano Co-Founder), our patron who envisions sustainable communities.

Activities in MCC

Beauty and Hair Dressing

This is a profession which involves styling and dressing clients. At the end of this course, you will become a hair cosmetologist.

Branches of speciality included will be, hairstyling , manicures/pedicures, non-permanent hair removal such as waxing and sugaring, and permanent hair removal such as electrology and intense pulsed light.

Software Development

We offer two training programs:

Full stack Program : This is a six month highly intensive coding program that runs for six months.

Regular Program : A two month part-time program where students learn the basic computer skills.

Tailoring and Fashion Design

The course covers illustrations, sketching, pattern making and fabric selection, cutting and stitching. Upon successful completion , the graduand is able to design and make own collection of clothes and accessories.

The programme is especially useful for individuals who wish to start their own business or who want to pursue professional garment opportunities within the industry.
